The Berlin International Women’s Club (www.biwc.de) is a Club for English speaking expats living in Berlin. It is a not-for-profit group with over 300 members from 56 countries. It’s a social organization for women finding their way in a new city and wanting to network and socialize with other women. If you are new to Berlin, check us out - there are activities practically every day of the week from cooking, tennis, sewing, architectural tours, fitness classes, walking groups, and more... check out the website to see more!

One of the special interest groups in the Club is called COOKING! I organize cooking classes, food-film screenings and food-related tours to our diverse group of members.

Tour at the historic Rogacki Food Emporium in Wilmersdorf

The husbands of our members are called The Forgotten Men and I also lead cooking demos in English with them. They get together socially once a month for dinner!

You’ll see some photos from past COOKING! events through the years. They are always popular classes and everyone takes home some new tips, recipes for cooking and in-home parties. We cook the menus together and we all have a bite to eat before cleaning up and going home! All part of an very enjoyable BIWC activity.

Dough Phobia Demo

The Art of Entertaining was about hosting an in-home dinner, how to formally set the table and serve your guests. Club members learned how to take the stress out of having an in-home party with a checklist for organizing an event.
